Job Title - Teacher of English (Foundation Learning)

Salary - £34,492 - £41,140 per annum

Location - Northamptonshire

Contract Type - Full-Time, Permanent

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated educator to deliver high-quality English instruction to Further Education students.

Deliver engaging instructional sessions covering GCSE and Functional Skills specifications.

Execute precise assessment tracking to continuously evaluate and document individual learner progression.

Collaborate closely with departmental colleagues to guarantee synchronized and efficient educational development.

Implement positive behaviour management techniques and provide constructive guidance to support learner conduct.

Champion internal quality assurance, verification processes, and standardisation practices across the curriculum.

Participate actively in promotional initiatives, recruitment events, and college exhibition days. Essential Requirements

Recognised teaching qualification, or an explicit willingness to achieve a Diploma in Education and Training (Cert Ed).

Relevant subject expertise evidenced by a Level 3 qualification alongside a minimum of Grade C/4 in GCSE English and Mathematics.

Proven experience delivering and standardising GCSE English learning programs.

Exceptional organisation and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to manage deadlines and inspire diverse student groups.

A valid, clean driving licence and comprehensive proficiency in basic digital workspace software.

Securement of an Enhanced DBS certificate alongside a verified dedication to safeguarding young individuals. Desired but not essential: Possession of a degree-level qualification in a relevant subject field. Benefits
