Greater Manchester - Fostering Social Worker - Family and Friends

£35 per hour DOE

Hybrid working - 1 day a week office based

The ideal candidate will have a passion for supporting vulnerable children and families, conducting thorough assessments, and ensuring suitable placements for children in need of foster care

* Conduct comprehensive assessments of prospective foster carers, including home visits, interviews, and background checks.

* Evaluate the suitability of potential foster carers based on established criteria and regulations.

* Provide support and guidance to prospective foster carers throughout the assessment process.

* Collaborate with other professionals, such as social workers, psychologists, and healthcare providers, to gather relevant information and make informed placement decisions.

* Prepare detailed reports documenting assessment findings and recommendations.
