Are you an experienced forklift operator looking for an exciting opportunity? Our client is seeking a motivated and skilled individual to join their team as a Forklift/Warehouse Operator at their Aylesford warehouse.
As a Forklift/Warehouse Operator, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the smooth operation of the warehouse and logistics functions. Your attention to detail and commitment to safety will ensure the accurate and efficient movement of materials, contributing to the overall success of the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
Operating forklifts and other equipment to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse.
Ensuring proper handling and storage of goods to prevent damage or loss.
Conducting regular inspections and maintenance of equipment to ensure safety and functionality.
Collaborating with the warehouse team to organise and prioritise tasks, ensuring timely completion of orders.
Adhering to safety regulations and company policies to maintain a secure and efficient working environment.
Assisting in inventory management, including cycle counting and stock reconciliation.
Maintaining accurate documentation of warehouse activities and reporting any discrepancies or issues to supervisors.Requirements:
Proven experience as a forklift operator in a warehouse or similar environment.
Valid forklift operator license.
Excellent knowledge of warehouse safety protocols and procedures.
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently with minimal supervision.
Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
Flexibility to work occasional weekends or evenings as required.Benefits:
