We are currently recruiting for a Field Service Engineer on a full time and permanent basis for our Loughborough based client.
Job Title: Field Service Engineer
Location: Loughborough and surrounding areas
Salary: Circa £35K per annum DOE

Supportive team environment and long-term career prospects.The Field Service Engineer will be working across customer sites. You will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, fault finding and repairing a range of forklift trucks and material handling equipment. You will represent the business on site, delivering a professional, reliable and customer-focused service.
Key Responsibilities
Service, maintain and repair forklift trucks and other material handling equipment at customer sites.
Carry out diagnostics, fault finding and breakdown repairs across mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems.
Complete planned preventative maintenance to a high standard.
Provide clear updates to customers and ensure excellent customer service at all times.
Maintain accurate service records and complete job reports.
Manage vehicle stock, tools and parts efficiently.
Work safely and in line with company procedures and health and safety requirements.
Skills and Experience Required
Previous experience as a forklift engineer, plant engineer, HGV technician, agricultural engineer, powered access engineer or similar.
Strong mechanical fault-finding and repair skills.
Hydraulic and electrical knowledge would be beneficial.
Ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
Professional communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
