Forklift Service Engineer | Yeovil | Up to £42,000 per year
If you want a workshop to call your own and the autonomy to run it your way, this Forklift Engineer role is worth a serious look. You'll take full ownership of servicing and maintaining a fleet of 21 side loading Lancer Boss forklifts, with the trust to manage things independently.

As a Forklift Engineer, your responsibilities will include:
Managing and delivering planned maintenance across the forklift fleet
Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs on side loading forklifts
Liaising with Operations and Logistics Managers to plan maintenance effectively
Anticipating machine failures and preventing recurrence
Managing spare parts stock and ordering as required
Maintaining accurate written service and maintenance records
As a Forklift Engineer, your experience will include:
At least 2 years' experience as a mechanic
Experience with side loaders, forklifts and/or plant maintenance
Strong mechanical, electrical and hydraulic understanding
Good numeracy and literacy skills
Forklift driving certificate (desirable)
Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment
