Salary: £37,000 - £40,000 + Overtime + Benefits
Overview:
First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a Forklift Engineer on behalf of one of our clients.
The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out routine maintenance and repairs to long/short term machines and customers owned equipment. Ensuring best practice with quality and professionalism are met at all times and to maintain customer satisfaction.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Service, maintain, and repair forklift trucks and materials handling equipment (MHE / plant)
Diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs on-site
Complete job sheets, service reports, and tablet-based documentation
Maintain company vehicle, tools, and van stock
Provide excellent customer service and build strong client relationships
Identify additional service or repair opportunities
Participate in standby/on-call rota
Follow all health & safety procedures
Skills and Qualifications:
Experience as a Forklift Engineer / Field Service Engineer / Mobile Engineer / Plant Engineer / HGV Technician or similar
Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills
Experience working on forklift trucks or materials handling equipment (highly desirable)
Full UK driving licence
Good communication and customer service skills
