Description:

Gap personnel are recruiting for 30 Forklift drivers to work on a structured Temporary-Permanent basis for its client, Bleckmann Logistics flagship new site in Corby, NN17.

The roles will start weekly pay for 12 weeks, moving to a permanent Bleckmann Logistics contract after 12 weeks.

If you are an experienced Forklift driver, please reach out as we have immediate starts available in June and throughout the next 8 weeks.

The trucks used are High Level Order pickers, all forklift drivers will be cross trained to Hi-Lop’s, the highest height of picking will be 16.7metres.

All workers will need to go through a 7 year work and address history & DBS check prior to starting the role.

Shifts: Monday to Friday,

0800am-16:00pm/16:00pm-00:00am, shifts rotate every 2 weeks.

Basic Pay £14.11 (incl £0.68p shift allowance for rotational shifts)

Overtime £20.15 after 37.5 hours worked in a week

Duties include but are not limited to.

To complete, handballing, loading, unloading & put away’s
To complete all Forklift safety checks prior to starting shift
Case order picking to standards
All forklift drivers will be 100% flexible to all duties as needed, including handballing, despatch and all other roles.
Ensuring a flow of stock through the distribution centre from receipt to despatch
To operate lifting equipment, manual or mechanical as trained.
To work to company key performance standards
Working to health & safety standards as trained
Play an active part in creating a safe working environment.
The successful candidate will.

Have previous forklift experience in a similar role
Be able to reliably work the shifts.
