FLT / Stores Person – Birstall

We are currently recruiting for an experienced FLT / Stores Person to join our client's team based in Birstall.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm
Pay Rate: £12.80 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

Accurately pick spare parts orders.
Pack orders securely and appropriately for transportation.
Dispatch parts orders with the correct paperwork and maintain detailed records.
Receive deliveries, inspect goods and documentation, and report any discrepancies to the Assistant Parts Manager.
Safely operate a Counterbalance Forklift Truck to load and unload goods.
Allocate new stock to suitable warehouse locations and maintain accurate stock records.
Follow stock rotation procedures and best practices where required.
Store parts safely within the correct warehouse locations.
Maintain a clean, organised, and safe warehouse environment.
Adhere to Health & Safety regulations, taking responsibility for your own safety and that of others.
Carry out any other reasonable duties as requested by the Parts Manager.
