Opportunity is around the corner as Pertemps are working in partnership with national pet food supplier located near North Scarle, Lincoln, recruiting for a Forklift Truck Driver to join their logistics team in the weighbridge.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a prestigious company who are wanting to invest in staff members, offering training and development opportunities.
Due to the location of the factory, you will need your own form of transport to get to and from work.
What will I be expected to do?
Operate a forklift truck safely and efficiently to transport materials and finished products around the weigh bridge area.
Accurately weigh incoming and outgoing goods using designated scales and recording the data appropriately.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the weigh bridge area, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of products.
Assist with loading and unloading goods from trucks and containers as required.
What skills do I need?
Valid FLT license and proven experience operating a forklift truck, preferably in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
Familiarity with weighing procedures and equipment is advantageous.
Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately record data.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
What hours will I be working?
Monday to Friday 0800 to 1600
What will I be paid?
The pay for this position is £12.24 per hour.
