Looking for a hands-on summer role? We’ve got an exciting opportunity for an experienced Forklift Operator to join a busy, high-energy site handling fresh fruit deliveries during peak season. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and love working as part of a team, this could be the perfect fit! Immediate starts available with work until the end of August or starts available at the end of June until the end of August.
Pay & Hours:
Pay: £32,043 pro rata (£15.31 per hour)
Contract: Fixed-term summer project (15th June to the end August)
Hours: Full-time, 12-hour shifts (days, nights & weekends)
Day shift: 06:00 to 1800
Night shift 18:00 to 06:00
Rotating Panama shift pattern (great work/life balance with built-in days off) What you’ll be doing:
Unloading full bins of freshly harvested blackcurrants from side-loading lorries
Transporting bins to the intake area and positioning them for processing
Keeping the flow moving by returning empty bins for reloading
Supporting a smooth, continuous production line
Carrying out daily equipment always checks and operating safely
Communicating with the yard team to keep everything running like clockwork
Pitching in with general yard duties when needed What makes this role exciting?

Free forklift upskill conversion to operate a telehandler What we’re looking for:
Valid, in-date forklift certificate (This can be Counterbalance, Reach, Flexi or VNA)
Some experience in a busy forklift role
Someone who is interested in being trained to operate a JCB Telehandler
Ability to work to tight deadlines and keep things moving efficiently
A strong focus on safety, teamwork, and communication skills Ready to get started?
