Forge Operative
Salary: £30,000 per annum (including shift allowance, plus minimum £25 weekly bonus after probation)
Hours
* Monday to Wednesday: 6:00am – 4:00pm
* Thursday: 6:00am – 3:00pm
The Role
We are looking for a Forge Operative to join a busy production team working within a fast-paced forging environment. You'll assist in the production of high-quality forged components while operating equipment safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
* Operate forging equipment.
* Load and unload materials.
* Operate overhead cranes and FLTs.
* Carry out quality checks.
* Maintain a safe working environment.
* Support production targets.
Requirements
Essential
* Existing Overhead Crane licence.
* Valid FLT licence.
* Manufacturing or heavy industrial experience.
Desirable
* Previous forging environment experience.
What's on Offer
* Salary of approximately £29,700 per annum including shift allowance.
* Minimum £25 per week production bonus after successful completion of probation.
* Four-day working week.
* Permanent full-time opportunity
