Description:

Are you a passionate, creative educator who loves inspiring children through outdoor learning? We are seeking an enthusiastic Forest School Teacher to join our team from January 2027.

This exciting full-time role combines the delivery of engaging Forest School sessions with high-quality PPA cover across our primary school. You will spend most mornings leading Forest School learning experiences before teaching classes across EYFS to Year 5 during PPA cover.

The Role

As our Forest School Teacher, you will:

Deliver inspiring Forest School sessions that encourage curiosity, resilience and a love of the natural environment.
Plan and teach engaging lessons across the National Curriculum for pupils from EYFS to Year 5.
Provide high-quality PPA cover throughout the school.
Create an inclusive, safe and stimulating learning environment both indoors and outdoors.
Build positive relationships with pupils, staff and families.
Assess pupils' progress and adapt teaching to meet individual needs.
Contribute to the wider life of the school and promote our values through outstanding teaching and learning.

We Are Looking For Someone Who:

Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognised Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) qualification.
Has proven experience teaching the National Curriculum across the primary age range.
Has experience of, or a passion for, delivering Forest School or outdoor learning.
Is enthusiastic, adaptable and committed to providing outstanding learning opportunities.
Has excellent classroom management and communication skills.
Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
