Job Title: General Foreman
Location: Offices in Greater Manchester and sites across the North West
Salary: up to £55,000 plus car allowance and package

General Foreman – Responsibilities of the role

Oversee daily project supervision, aiding the Project Management Team to ensure projects are delivered on schedule and within budget.
Ensure allocation sheets are completed daily.
Evaluate the competence of all personnel entering the work area.
Ensure all projects adhere to best practices and company policies regarding Health & Safety, Quality, and Environmental issues.
Communicate Inductions, Risk Assessments, Method Statements, and conduct daily pre-start meetings for all site activities, including toolbox talks when necessary.
Supervise third parties, subcontractors, technical and professional specialists, and their representatives daily.
Attend and participate in monthly site Health & Safety meetings.
Conduct weekly site safety inspections according to company policies and procedures.
Complete and submit timesheets and plant returns as needed.
Assist with planning and scheduling.
Inspect all plant equipment upon arrival and completion of hire, reporting any issues to the Plant Department.   
General Foreman  - What we are looking for

Valid CSCS supervisor card/SSSTS qualification 
Have experience in overseeing all facets of civil engineering projects, including earthworks, drainage, concrete, piling, utilities, and canal work, you will also be accustomed to supervising site staff, labour, and subcontractors on a daily basis.
