Job Title: Foreman – Groundworks

Location: Dagenham, East London

Rate: Negotiable (DOE) – Outside IR35

Foreman – Groundworks – Immediate Start – Dagenham

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Foreman to join an established groundworks subcontractor on an ongoing groundworks package in Dagenham, East London.

This is a long-term opportunity for an experienced Foreman, with an immediate start available and the potential for continued work on future projects.

The Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day supervision of the groundworks package, managing gangs and coordinating site activities to ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently and to programme.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise groundworks activities and site teams.

*

Manage gangs and subcontractors.

*

Coordinate labour, plant and materials.

*

Ensure works are completed safely and to programme.

*

Carry out toolbox talks and site inspections.

*

Liaise with the Site Manager and wider project team.

*

Monitor quality and productivity across site.

*

Resolve day-to-day issues as they arise.

Requirements

*

Proven experience working as a Groundworks Foreman.

*

Strong groundworks subcontractor background.

*

Good understanding of groundworks construction.

*

Strong leadership and communication skills.

*

SSSTS or SMSTS.

*

CSCS Card essential.

*

Additional relevant qualifications and tickets advantageous.
