Location: Trowbridge
Rate: Negotiable DOE – Outside IR35
Contract: 4 months initially, with further work available
Foreman – Industrial Groundworks – Trowbridge
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Foreman to join a large and well-established groundworks subcontractor on an industrial groundworks package in the Trowbridge area.
The client has asked to remain confidential until the interview stage. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Groundworks Foreman, with an initial 4-month project and a strong pipeline of secured work to follow.
The Role
The successful candidate will be the No.1 on site, overseeing the day-to-day delivery of the groundworks package and ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently and to programme.
You will work closely with the wider project team while managing gangs, labour, subcontractors, plant and materials on site.
Key Responsibilities

Take responsibility for the day-to-day running of the site.

Manage gangs, labour and subcontractors.
*
Coordinate plant, materials and site activities.
*
Ensure works are delivered safely and to programme.
*
Maintain high Health & Safety standards.
*
Liaise with the wider project team and engineers.
*
Monitor quality and productivity.
*
Carry out toolbox talks and site briefings.
*
Resolve day-to-day site issues.
Scope of Works
The project involves a standard industrial groundworks package, including foundations, drainage, concrete works, ducting, slabs and associated external works.
Requirements
*
Previous experience as a Groundworks Foreman.
*
Experience working for a groundworks subcontractor preferred.
*
Strong experience running a site and managing gangs.
*
SSSTS – Essential.
*
CSCS Card – Essential, any colour considered.
*
Strong communication and leadership skills.
