One of our client schools in Newcastle are looking for a hardworking Food Technology Technician to work across KS3 and 4.

About the School and Role

We're looking for a Food Technology Technician to work within a school who has a strong skillset working within a kitchen setting. You'll be required to assist teaching staff with demonstration lessons and prepare practical ingredients, helping to create a fun and engaging learning environment which can assist students in their progression towards their exams.

This School is an inclusive community, including both pupils and parents into the schools ethos. The school believes that all pupils, regardless of their ability should have access to education where their needs are met, and they are valued. The school aims to support and encourage pupils to become caring, responsible and self-assured individuals.

Requirements

The desired Food Technology Technician will have;

Strong academic background
Have strong communication, literacy and numeracy skills
Eligible to work in the UK (must have valid visa)
Background in Food Technology or experience working in a similar setting
Valid DBS/police checks
