Aspire People are looking for a Food Technology Teaching Assistant to join a secondary school in Cardiff on a full-time basis, with the potential for the role to become permanent.
This is a great opportunity for someone with experience or a strong interest in Food Technology, Catering, Hospitality or Education who enjoys supporting young people in a practical learning environment.
???????? The Role Includes
???? Supporting students during Food Technology lessons
???? Assisting with practical cooking and food preparation activities
???????? Supporting the Food Technology teacher with classroom activities
???? Providing one-to-one and small-group support where required
???? Helping maintain a safe, clean and organised practical classroom
???? Encouraging students to develop confidence and practical skills
✅ We're Looking For
???? Experience or qualifications in Food Technology, Catering or Hospitality is desirable
???????? Practical cooking or food preparation experience
???? Experience working with children or young people is desirable
???? A patient, supportive and positive approach
????️ Strong awareness of safeguarding and pupil wellbeing
???? Ability to work effectively as part of a school team
