Food Technology Teacher Required
Leigh Academy Tonbridge
September 2024 Start
The Supply Register is looking for an experienced and responsible Food Technology Teacher to join the Leigh Academy Tonbridge from September 2024. This is a part-time role, for term time only.
As a Food Technology Teacher you will be expected to:
Plan and lead insightful and exciting lessons
Provide a mix of theoretical and practical learning for your students
Work alongside a Food technician to ensure necessary tools, machinery and materials are available and prepped for lessons
Accurately track and monitor students progress and be able to provide varied lessons if needed
Attend parents’ evenings to discuss student progress
Requirements
Previous experience as a Food Technology Teacher is mandatory
Must hold the Right to work in the UK
Must hold an Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or be willing to process one
Must have a minimum of 24 months of professional references
