Position: Food Technology Teacher with English Teaching Responsibilities

Location: Eastleigh, Hampshire

Key Stages: KS3 and KS4

Contract Type: Full-Time

Start Date: September 2024

About the Role:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Food Technology Teacher to join a supportive and dynamic team in Eastleigh. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of KS3 and KS4 students, inspiring them through practical and creative learning experiences in both Food Technology and English.

Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Experience in teaching Food Technology, preferably within an SEN setting.
Strong understanding of SEN and strategies to support diverse learning needs.
Ability to teach English at KS3 and KS4 levels, with a focus on literacy development.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Patience, empathy, and a passion for working with students with special educational needs.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.Desirable:

Additional qualifications or training in SEN.
Experience in integrating technology and innovative teaching methods into the classroom.
Knowledge of current educational policies and practices related to SEN.What We Offer:
