Food Technology Teacher – MEA - ASAP Start

‍ About the Role

As a Food Technology Teacher, you will deliver engaging and practical lessons that encourage students to develop their culinary skills, understanding of nutrition, and confidence in the kitchen. You will play a key role in fostering creativity, independence, and a lifelong appreciation for healthy eating.

Key Responsibilities

✅ Plan and deliver high-quality Food Technology lessons across Key Stages.
✅ Inspire students to develop practical cooking skills and nutritional knowledge.
✅ Assess, monitor, and support student progress.
✅ Create a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
✅ Ensure health and safety procedures are followed within practical lessons.
✅ Work collaboratively with colleagues to support student achievement.

What We're Looking For

⭐ Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
⭐ Experience teaching Food Technology within a secondary school setting.
⭐ Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
⭐ A passion for food, nutrition, and student development.
⭐ Commitment to raising standards and achieving positive outcomes for all learners.
