About the Role:
As a Food Technology Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and innovative lessons to students at Key Stages 3 and 4. Your role will involve:
Developing and implementing creative lesson plans that inspire and motivate students.
Assessing and monitoring student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
Ensuring a safe and inclusive classroom environment where all students can thrive.
Collaborating with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality food technology lessons.
Use a variety of teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles.
Foster a positive and nurturing learning environment.
Track and report on student progress and achievement.
Participate in departmental meetings and professional development opportunities.
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
A degree in Food Technology or a related field.
Proven experience teaching Food Technology at secondary level.
Strong classroom management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
