About the Role:
Supply Desk is working with a Secondary School based in Horsham, West Sussex, seeking a full-time Food Technology Teacher starting at the end of October. The School is looking for a Food Technology teacher with good experience teaching Food and Catering in Secondary Schools, knowledge of health and safety, and strong classroom management skills. You will be a dedicated Teacher fully committed to the role and teaching students in Key Stage 3 and 4. The role will be made permanent for the right teacher and is suitable for an experienced Food Technology Teacher seeking a long-term role or an NQT for Food Technology seeking a potential permanent contract in a supportive department and School.

Who You Are:
Qualified to teach and work in the UK with relevant experience and recent references
Ability to teach Food Technology in Key Stage 3 and 4
Proven track record of raising attainment within a similar setting
Comfortable continually improving the teaching and learning of their subject through schemes of work and extracurricular activities
Understanding of the strategies needed to establish consistently high aspirations and standards of results and behaviour
