Are you a fully qualified teacher with experience teaching Food Technology? Are you looking for a new role in which you can instill your passion for food and cooking into young people? This may be just the role for you!
Simply Education are working with an excellent secondary school in Ashford to recruit a specialist in Food Technology to join their team in September 2024. This position will include teaching Food Technology to GCSE and A-Level students, planning lessons in advance and helping them to prepare for exams.
This is an excellent opportunity for both experienced teachers as well as early career teachers. The school have outstanding facilities with brand-new equipment for this academic year and have recently received a ‘good’ Ofsted rating. You will have fantastic support from a rest of the DT department and from the school as a whole.
We are ideally looking for someone who:
• Has experience teaching Food Technology.
• Has the ability to control and manage a classroom.
• Has excellent knowledge of the KS4 and KS5 Curriculum.
• Can promote cultural development.
• Has great communication and lesson delivery skills.
• Can prepare and plan lessons in advance.
