Food Service Assistant

Description:

We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Food Service Assistant to join our team in London.

The successful candidate will support the day-to-day food service operation, ensuring that food is prepared, served, and handled safely while providing a high standard of service.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with the preparation and serving of food and beverages.
Maintain high standards of cleanliness and food hygiene.
Follow food safety, hygiene, and health & safety procedures at all times.
Clean and maintain kitchen, dining, and food service areas.
Assist with stock rotation and storage of food supplies.
Ensure food is stored and handled correctly.
Provide friendly and professional service to customers and staff.
Work effectively as part of a team.
Carry out any other reasonable duties required by the manager.

Essential Requirements

Valid DBS check - essential.
Level 2 Food Hygiene / Food Safety certificate - essential.
Previous experience in a food service, catering, kitchen, or hospitality environment is desirable.
Good understanding of food hygiene and health & safety procedures.
Reliable, punctual, and hardworking.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work in a busy environment.
