Location: Wimbledon, South West London
Job Type: Temporary – Ongoing
Working Days: Monday to Friday
We are currently recruiting for Food Production Operatives to join a busy and growing manufacturing company based in Wimbledon.
This is a temporary ongoing position, working Monday to Friday, with the opportunity for regular work for reliable candidates.
The Role
As a Food Production Operative, you will be working as part of a busy production team helping to manufacture and prepare fresh food products.
Your duties will include:
Preparing and handling food ingredients
Weighing and measuring ingredients accurately
Operating basic production machinery
Portioning, shaping and packing finished products
Labelling and checking products
Moving products and materials around the production area
Maintaining a clean and hygienic working environment
Following food hygiene, quality and Health & Safety procedures
Working to production targets and maintaining a consistent pace
Supporting other areas of the production process when required
About You
We are looking for people who are:
Reliable and punctual
Hard-working and physically fit
Comfortable working in a busy food production environment
Able to work as part of a team
Happy carrying out repetitive tasks
Able to follow instructions and production procedures
Health & Safety and hygiene conscious
Comfortable standing for extended periods
Previous food production or warehouse experience is an advantage, but full training can be provided
