FME (Foreign Materials Extrusion) GUARDIAN - SIZEWELL B POWER STATION, SUFFOLK

VGC Energy part of VGC Group Limited are currently recruiting for an impending Outage at Sizewell B Power Station who are working in partnership with EQUANS – looking to onboard an FME Guardian to take charge of the FME area!

FME (Foreign Materials Extrusion) GUARDIAN – Rewards and Benefits

* £12.34ph - £22.88ph (basic / shift – plus hols)

* Pre-Outage – Days 37.50 hours per week plus overtime

* During Outage – Days or Night shifts – 12 hours per shift – 6 on / 1 off

* Full training will be given prior to start

FME (Foreign Materials Extrusion) GUARDIAN – Responsibilities

* Preventing external debris from entering areas where it could pose an economic risk or safety hazard

* Monitoring work activities, correcting FME problems and notifying Team Leader of any unresolved issues

* Issuing and return of various tools and safety equipment by computer control system both inside and ouside of the area

* Monitoring toolbox inventory / special tools inventory

* Identifying missing parts and any damage to tools by recording/logging promptly and accurately

* Ensuring all equipment is returned in a safe manner and any associated paperwork is completed

* Ensuring work schedules are priortised and delivered on time

FME (Foreign Materials Extrusion) GUARDIAN – Requirements

* Previous FME / Stores / Goods-in/Out / Dispatch experience

* Previous Nuclear Outage experience (Sizewell B) is highly desirable although not mandatory

* Nuclear Clearance (CTC) will is required to be undertaken prior to commencement.

* Manual duties including lifting heavy products, cleaning equipment and working areas as well as general good housekeeping duties

* Ability to work under pressure but also with H&S of highest paramount

* Computer literate

* Willingness to contribute to overall team, responding well to directives

* EXcellent communication and organisational skills

* Excellent time-keeping
