Position: Site Supervisor
Location: City of London
Salary: £51,000 + Overtime + Benefits
Responsibilities:
As a Mechanical Site Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the maintenance and operation of mechanical systems within our client's facilities. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
HVAC System Management: Ensuring the proper functioning, maintenance, and repairs of Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems to maintain optimal indoor air quality and comfortable environments.
BMS Operation: Managing the Building Management System (BMS) to monitor, control, and optimise various building functions, including temperature, lighting, and energy usage.
Supervision and Team Management: Leading a team of skilled technicians and collaborating with other departments to ensure seamless coordination and execution of maintenance tasks.
Preventive Maintenance: Developing and implementing preventive maintenance schedules to minimise downtime and equipment failures.
Health and Safety Compliance: Ensuring all maintenance activities are performed in compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
Problem Solving: Identifying and troubleshooting mechanical issues, implementing solutions, and taking appropriate corrective actions.
Documentation: Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities, reports, and equipment performance.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need the following qualifications and experience:
Proven experience as a Site Supervisor or in a similar supervisory role within facility management or related industries.
Expertise in HVAC system maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting.
Proficiency in managing and operating Building Management Systems (BMS).
Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and guide technicians effectively.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices in facility management.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to liaise with clients and team members effectively.
Relevant mechanical qualifications or certifications would be an advantage.
