Description:

Our client, a bank based in Central London is looking for a Fluent Arabic Onboarding to join them on a 1 year fixed term contract.
The successful candidate will have the responsibility and accountability for liaising with customers and counterparties to obtain the necessary information to identify, assess and seek the relevant approvals for any financial crime risks that arise in these customer or counterparty relationships. This applies to the onboarding (face to face or remote) of new customers/counterparties, periodic reviews, event driven reviews, and account closures. The role encompasses all functions to support the customer owners and individuals performing relationship management (RM) roles in the customer-facing business units.
Main Responsibilities:
* Client facing customer contact to obtain required documents and information to complete onboarding, periodic reviews, event driven reviews and account closures for all customers and counterparties.
* Face to face meetings with customers for form completion, reviews, closures etc.
* Respond to any queries from the onboarding team to assist with the completion of onboarding, periodic reviews, event driven reviews and account closures.
* Working with the onboarding team and RM team to prioritise and close reviews to deadlines.
* Responding to any client queries (particularly from individual customers or business customers that do not have borrowing facilities) in an efficient manner.
* Ensure that all information, including the bank’s, is handled and managed in a strictly confidential manner.
* As ‘Certification Staff’, ensure the Bank’s AML, counter terrorist financing, sanctions, anti-bribery and corruption and fraud prevention, complaint handling and treating your customer fairly policies, procedures and together with other regulated regulatory guidelines are adhered to at all times by the Business Development Department’s personnel.
* As ‘Certification Staff’, ensure the policies and procedures for the Senior Managers and Certification Regimes and Conduct Rules requirements are adhered to by the Business Development Department at all times.
* Rolling out new practises and regulatory requirements
* Training staff members as required
Experience & Skills required:
* Several years of experience in customer onboarding & services
* Excellent time management skills
* Excellent organisational skills
* Relevant degree or equivalent
* Fluent in Arabic and English
