Our client based in Egham has a varied and exciting opportunity for an experienced Forklift / Warehouse Operative to join their team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will have previous experience within a 3PL environment, be able to drive and have either a Counterbalance or Reach Forklift licence.
The FLT / Warehouse Operative role
* Ensuring all equipment and areas of the warehouse are kept clean, tidy and in order.
* Maintaining a safe working environment at all times.
* Carrying out daily checks on all mechanical equipment, ensuring they are safe to use.
* Assisting with loading and unloading of vehicles, checking against notes to ensure accuracy of receipt or dispatch of goods.
* Ensuring the inbound and outbound of shipments are accurate and free of damage.
* Reporting any concerns or quality issues to the Manager.
* Booking in of all incoming stock and storing in a safe manner in the correct locations.
* Accurately picking and preparing products for shipping.
* Keeping the warehouse secure and reporting any discrepancies in stock to the Manager
* Assisting in all other areas of the warehouse when required.
* Driving the company van to carry out local deliveries and collections when needed.
You will
* Previous experience in a similar role and either a counterbalance or reach truck licence.
* To be computer literate.
* A full clean driving licence.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to identify and promote improvements.
* To be a strong team player with a great work ethic.
* The ability to work on your own initiative and to deadlines with accuracy.
* A flexible and adaptable approach to work.
* To be physically able.

The working hours for this role are 9.00am – 5.30pm Monday to Friday.
