FLT Operator and dispatch Operative
Salary: £12.00 per hour
Full Time; Permanent, 39 hours per week

Profile
Our client, based on the outskirts of Leeds, has been established for over 25 years and is the market leader in the manufacture of furniture for the Hospitality Industry. They manufacturer and fit out Hotels with bespoke furniture for clients such as Hilton, Sheraton, Holiday Inn & Crowne Plaza. They are now on the lookout for a FLT Operator and dispatch Operative.
Job Purpose
The primary responsibility will be to operate the FLT to load and unload vehicles.
Responsibilities but not limited to: -
* Loading and unloading vehicles
* Picking and packing orders
* Using Forklift trucks on a daily basis
* Stock Management
* Damage Control
* Ensuring health and safety obligations are met
* Prioritising workload
* Hands on approach
Essential Skills: -
* Counterbalance forklift licence and experience
* Experience within a warehouse environment
* Experience in timber an advantage
* Good level of numeracy and literacy
* Willingness to work as part of a team
* Able to use your own initiative to ensure you are kept busy
* Possess good communication skills
* Have the ability to undertake a variety of manual handling tasks
* Able to work to targets
