Connect Appointments have an exciting opportunity for a FLT Operator to join and strengthen our client's existing team in Gatenby on a temp-to-perm basis.
Our client is a privately-owned and highly successful logistics, construction and maintenance business employing over 2000 people across the UK.
Schedule: Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend overtime
Pay rate: £12.15 per hour
The successful candidate must possess a valid Counterbalance FLT Licence, have experience of working as a Class 1 Shunter and have an understanding of FLT/logistics operations, including picking stock, case picking, loading and unloading trailers and general handling of various palletised case goods.
Your main duties will involve:
Scanning inbound and outbound goods
Carrying out manual procedures
Loading and unloading of goads
Preparing trailers and securing loads
Completing paperwork, monitoring stock and manual handlingThe successful FLT Operator will have:
A valid Counterbalance FLT licence
Previous experience of operating forklifts in a busy environment
