FLT Driver / Warehouse Operative (Days)
Location: Shipley, BD17
Salary: £27,300 per annum + Overtime paid after 37.5 hours
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm (8:00am - 4:00pm during training)
Contract Type: Permanent

Due to continued business growth, they are seeking a reliable and motivated FLT Driver / Warehouse Operative to join their day shift team on a permanent basis.
The Role
As an FLT Driver / Warehouse Operative, you will play a key role in ensuring the efficient movement of stock and materials throughout the warehouse and production areas. This is a varied position combining forklift driving responsibilities with general warehouse duties in a fast-paced but friendly environment.
Key Responsibilities
Safely operate forklift trucks to move materials and products around site (Counterbalance and Reach)
Load and unload incoming and outgoing deliveries
Build pallets and prepare goods for dispatch
Accurately pick and pack customer orders
Move stock between departments and storage locations
Maintain a clean, safe, and organised warehouse environment
Carry out daily equipment and forklift checks, reporting any defects
Assist with stock control and inventory processes
Support with general warehouse duties as required
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
A valid Counterbalance and Reach FLT licence
Previous experience in a warehouse and forklift driving position
Good understanding of warehouse health and safety procedures
Basic PC skills and confidence using stock control or warehouse management systems
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
A proactive and reliable approach to work
The ability to work independently and as part of a team
