An opportunity has arisen for a Warehouse Operative who holds a nationally accredited FLT Counterbalance & FLT Reach Certificate and a full clean UK Driving licence to join my clients team in Daventry.
About the Job:
Responsibilities:
* Use counterbalance FLT and Reach Truck for loading/ unloading vehicles/stores for automotive manufacturer
* Book in items received using a computer system
* Pick items from stores according to kitting list for fabricators, welders etc.
* Pack completed items into bespoke cartons following instructions sheets and prepare for despatch to customer
* General stores functions
* Cover van driving when required
* Help keep your workplace safe, clean and tidy
* Work with rest of the team, and provide holiday or other cover
* Adhere to health and safety and environmental requirements
* Any other reasonable requests should be carried out to the best of your ability
Person Specification
* Good literacy and numeracy
* Must have accredited counterbalance FLT training certificate
* Must have accredited Reach FLT training certificate
* Must have a full driving license
* Good communication skills
* Must have experience in similar role, ideally in manufacturing
* Experience of MRP system
* Attention to detail is essential
* Must be a strong team player with a “Can Do” attitude
* Must be able to work diligently and with minimum of supervision
* May be required to work additional hours to meet workload
* Must be flexible in approach, willing take on other tasks, and be responsive to changing demands and situations
