Description:

FLT Driver/ Stores Operative + £24,000 + Immediate start available + 3 month contract with a view to permanent + weekly pay + day shift Monday - Friday (1pm finish on a Friday)

This position is located in Openshaw

Hours of work Monday - Thursday 7:30am - 16:30pm, Friday 7:30am-1pm

Main Purpose of the Role

To work as part of the stores team to take deliveries and manage stock levels.

Key Tasks

* Be responsible for receiving and checking all deliveries

* Ensure all stock is stored in the correct manner

* Liaise with suppliers and handle queries relating to delivery and stock discrepancies

* Keep a record of and report any frequent shortages or spare items

* Keep inventory management systems up to date

* Carry out regular stock takes

* Pick and deliver products using a forklift

* Organise and deliver goods from the stores to the relevant departments as required

Qualifications/Skills/Knowledge/Attributes

* IT skills, with confidence using Microsoft Office and inventory management systems

* Bendi/Counterbalance Forklift licence

* Experience working in a similar inventory or stock control role

* Excellent organisational skills
