Thrive Oldham are recruiting for our well-established client in the Burton on Trent area. They provide a wide range of goods and services to industrial and manufacturing markets throughout the UK and in Europe including pallets, packaging, agricultural inspecting boxes, a large range of tools, workwear and safety equipment, and property services.
We are currently looking to recruit a counterbalance forklift driver in the Burton on Trent location.
The suitable candidate will be responsible for loading/unloading/moving product /product returns and deciphering whether the products are repairable, resaleable or to be recycled.
These new vacancies offer an opportunity of a temporary to permanent role after a successful probationary period.
The applicants will need the following experience:
General labouring experience
Product inspection experience
Manual handling experience
Current Counterbalance forklift Licence
MUST BE USED TO WORKING OUTDOORS Please note: you will be required to work in an open work environment which exposes you to all-season weather elements, therefore you will need to be willing to work outdoors.
Full PPE and weather wear is provided.
Days of Work - Monday to Friday
Hours of work 6am -2pm Monday to Friday / Monday - Friday 2pm - 10pm (Two paid 15 minutes breaks am/pm) (30 mins unpaid lunch) - these are rotating shifts but for training it will be days only

Salary £12.85 per hour
