FLT Counterbalance/Multi Skilled Production Operative

Description:

Key Duties:

Operating and maintaining manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently
Operating a forklift - valid Certificate preferably
Controlling the quality of product
Responsible for the manufacturing assets
Liaising with maintenance and assisting where needed
You will inspect, carry out and ensure that plant routines are regularly adhered to and that the cleanliness of the plant mechanism, plant area, adjacent buildings, and equipment are at all times properly and regularly inspected, cleaned in accordance with site instructions. Pay rate: AM £12.71 per hour/ PM £14.58 per hour /Nights  £15.42 per hour

Any lawful deductions will be explained clearly before engagement. Statutory deductions such as Tax, National Insurance, and pension contributions (where applicable) will apply.

Working Pattern - rotating weekly

Morning shift

Monday to Friday 06:00 - 14:15

Paid Breaks

Afternoon shift

Monday to Friday 14:00 - 22:15

Paid Breaks

Night Shift

Sunday to Thursday 22:00 - 06:15

Paid breaks 06:00-14:15; 14:00-22:15; 22:00-06:15

Candidate Requirements:

Highly motivated General Operative with drive and enthusiasm to work as part of the Shift team
In date fork lift certificate
Excellent communication and team working skills
Good organisational skills
Able to work on your own initiative
Ability to work to deadlines and problem solve
Own transport required
