Description:
Xpert Recruitment Solutions Ltd is currently recruiting experienced Counterbalance FLT Drivers for permanent opportunities within a busy warehouse and production environment.
Candidates must hold a valid, in-date external Counterbalance FLT licence and have a good understanding of warehouse operations and health and safety procedures.
Shift Patterns & Pay Rates
Rotating Shifts – £14.82 per hour
*
5:00am – 1:00pm
*
1:00pm – 9:00pm
Weekend & Night Shifts
*
Saturday: 6:00am – 6:00pm – £16.23 per hour
*
Sunday: 10:00am – 10:00pm – £16.23 per hour
*
Nights: 9:00pm – 5:00am, either Monday and Tuesday or Wednesday and Thursday – £16.93 per hour
The weekend/night position offers a 40-hour weekly contract.
Key Responsibilities
*
Operating a counterbalance forklift safely and efficiently.
*
Moving, stacking and organising stock within the warehouse.
*
Loading and unloading goods from production areas.
*
Loading products onto MAV.
*
Picking orders and handling materials as required.
*
Transferring stock between warehouse and production areas.
*
Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment.
*
Following all company health and safety procedures.
Requirements
*
Valid, in-date external Counterbalance FLT licence (essential).
*
Previous warehouse or production experience desirable.
*
Safe and competent forklift operating skills.
*
Good attention to detail and a strong safety awareness.
*
Reliable, punctual and hardworking.
*
Ability to work the relevant shift pattern.
*
Successful completion of a drug and alcohol test at interview is required.
