Counterbalance Forklift Driver – Night Shift
Location: Dunstable
Shift: Nights, Monday to Friday
Pay: Competitive, depending on experience
About the Role
We are currently recruiting for an experienced and reliable Counterbalance Forklift Driver to join our team in Dunstable, working night shifts.
Candidates must have strong, proven experience operating a counterbalance forklift truck. We are looking for someone confident and competent in their ability to operate the truck safely and efficiently within a busy warehouse environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for moving stock, loading and unloading vehicles, and supporting the smooth running of warehouse operations throughout the night.
Working Hours;
* Monday night: 00:00 – 09:00
* Tuesday night: 23:30 – 09:00
* Wednesday night: 23:30 – 09:00
* Thursday night: 23:30 – 09:00
* Friday night: 23:30 – 07:00
Key Responsibilities
* Safely and efficiently operate a counterbalance forklift truck.
* Load and unload vehicles.
* Move, stack and organise stock within the warehouse.
* Ensure goods are handled safely and accurately.
* Complete daily forklift safety checks.
* Maintain a clean, tidy and safe working environment.
* Follow all health and safety procedures.
* Work effectively as part of a team to meet operational deadlines.
Requirements
* Strong, proven experience operating a counterbalance forklift truck is essential.
* Valid and in-date counterbalance forklift licence.
* Confidence operating a counterbalance truck in a busy warehouse environment.
* Good understanding of warehouse health and safety procedures.
* Reliable, punctual and hardworking attitude.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Availability to work the specified night shifts
