Full-Time Permanent Monday–Friday
Build Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced Floor Layer to join a long-term social housing contract covering the Staines area.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join an esablished maintenance contractor delivering responsive repairs, planned works, and refurbishments across residential properties.
The RoleYou will be carrying out a wide range of flooring installations and repairs within occupied and void social housing properties, ensuring all works are completed safely, professionally, and to a high standard.
Key Duties
Installation of sheet vinyl flooring
Cap and cove wet room flooring
Ceramic tiling and floor repairs
Subfloor preparation and screeding
Applying self-levelling compounds
Flooring repairs in kitchens, bathrooms, and communal areas
Measuring and cutting materials accurately
Using PDA systems to update works
Working closely with tenants and maintenance teamsWhat’s on Offer

Proven experience as a Floor Layer
Experience within social housing or domestic properties preferred
Skilled in sheet vinyl, cap and cove, tiling, and floor preparation
Experience using screed and self-levelling compounds
Good communication and customer service skills
Full UK driving licence
