RSR are currently recruiting on behalf of our client based in the South West for a Floating Support Worker. This is a full time, permanent role and offers a salary of £27,000 per year. Must have the Ability to work out of hours, evenings, and weekends on occasions depending on the needs of the project.

Travel around Exeter, Dorset and Somerset is expected so access to own car and full driving license is essential.

As a Floating Support Worker, you'll play a vital role in our mission, providing support where it's needed most. Services cater to individuals experiencing homelessness or facing current housing challenges. Clients often have complex lives, dealing with trauma, mental health issues, substance misuse, and more. Your role will be instrumental in providing them with the support and empowerment they need to thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide advice, information, and enabling services to clients, ensuring access to appropriate resources.

* Coordinate and deliver meaningful occupation opportunities for clients.

* Maintain accurate client records and contribute to data analysis for service improvements.

* Ensure high-quality, person-centered support that considers clients' strengths and trauma-informed approaches.

* Manage housing responsibilities, including move-ons, rent arrears, and neighbourhood relations.

* Uphold health and safety standards, overseeing fire safety and building maintenance.

* Liaise with external agencies and represent Julian House professionally in relevant forums.

Person Specification:

* Qualification in Health or Social Care at degree level or equivalent (Desirable).

* Proficiency in Microsoft Word, email, and basic spreadsheets

* Understanding of multiple and complex needs impacting homelessness and social exclusion

* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

* Experience working with homeless or socially excluded individuals

* Ability to work effectively in a team and with challenging behaviours

* Full driving license and access to own car
