Location: Newcastle upon Tyne, Longbenton
Salary: £30,000 - £32,000 per annum, depending on experience
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm
About the Role
We are currently seeking a time-served Flexographic Printing Operator with experience running multi-colour presses to join an established and growing manufacturing business.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced printer to join a busy production environment, producing high-quality printed labels and products to customer specifications and deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
Set up, operate and maintain multi-colour flexographic printing presses.
Complete print jobs to the required quality standards and within agreed deadlines.
Monitor print quality, colour consistency and registration throughout production runs.
Carry out routine press maintenance and troubleshoot mechanical or print-related issues.
Set up presses efficiently, ensuring minimal downtime and waste.
Work closely with the wider production team to maintain an efficient workflow.
Complete relevant production and quality documentation.
Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.
Adhere to all company health and safety procedures.
Requirements
Time-served or experienced Flexographic Printer/Operator.
Proven experience operating multi-colour flexographic printing presses.
Experience with embellishments such as hot foil and/or cold foil would be advantageous.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
Good mechanical aptitude and practical problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Reliable, proactive and flexible approach to work.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment.
