About the Role

We are looking for a reliable and motivated Flexo Web Print Assistant to join our clients production team. Working alongside experienced Flexographic Printers, you will play a key role in ensuring the efficient operation of our web printing presses while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and productivity.  This is an excellent opportunity for someone with print manufacturing experience or an individual looking to develop a career in the flexographic printing industry.

Key Responsibilities

  Assist the Flexographic Printer with machine setup, operation, and changeovers.

  Prepare inks, plates, sleeves, and print materials for production runs.

  Load and unload reels of substrate safely and efficiently.

  Monitor print quality and report any issues promptly.

  Maintain a clean and organised work area.

  Support preventative maintenance and routine cleaning of printing equipment.

  Accurately complete production documentation and quality records.

  Follow all health and safety procedures and company policies.

  Work collaboratively with production, quality, and maintenance teams to meet production targets.

Requirements

  Good attention to detail and commitment to quality.

  Strong work ethic with a willingness to learn.

  Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

  Good communication skills.

  Basic mechanical aptitude.

  Previous experience in flexographic, web, or label printing.

  Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment.

  Ability to work shifts where required.
