Role - Fleet Workshop Assistant
Pay - £15.00 Per hour Umbrella Ltd
Hours - 37 per week
Service Care Solutions are recruiting for a Workshop Assistant for a Local Authority they are working with in North Wales employed on a temporary basis.
As a Workshop Assistant, we are seeking a candidate who has experience of working in a garage or has similar workplace knowledge.
The key duties will include;
Cleaning and ensuring the upkeep of the the fleet workshop
Ensuring the vehicles which arrive to the workshop are maintained
Keeping the stores clean
Delivering of vehicles and collection where required
Making sure the equipment in the workshop are maintained and stored safely
Washing down all vehicles for service and inspection using a variety of methods
Undertaking training as necessary to support in carrying out tasks
We are seeking a candidate who is self-motivated, enthusiastic and able to work as part of a team.
You will be able to lead by example with a positive behaviour and flexible approach to work where you can work outside of normal working hours.
Key requirements;
Hold a Full Driving License with a Category C License
Valid CPC Driving Card
Experience in Cleaning and Warehousing
Understanding of Health and Safety Practices
