About the Role
We are seeking a Fleet Base Shunter / Fleet HGV Driver to join our client's fleet operation in Chalgrove. This varied role combines yard shunting duties with vehicle movements and fleet support activities, making it ideal for a qualified HGV driver looking for a diverse and rewarding position.
You will play a key role in ensuring vehicles are moved safely, maintained operationally, and available to meet business requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Move HGVs and fleet vehicles safely around the site and local operational areas.
Position vehicles for servicing, maintenance, inspections, and operational use.
Complete vehicle checks and report defects.
Support fleet management activities and vehicle availability.
Ensure compliance with transport legislation and health & safety requirements.
Maintain accurate records and vehicle documentation where required.
About You
Valid Category C or C+E HGV licence.
Driver CPC qualification.
Digital Tachograph Card.
Excellent vehicle handling and safety awareness.
Previous experience within transport, fleet, logistics, or shunting environments.
Flexible and professional attitude.
