Mechanical Fitter
Sandy
£12 - £15 per hour
Proactive are currently recruiting for Mechanical Fitter to work for a manufacturing company based in Sandy, Bedford.
Your daily duties will include:
Assembly and build of specialist machinery
Manufacturing small components
Assembly of components
Working to in-house designs, drawings and quality requirementsThe ideal candidate will:
Mechanical engineering background or similar
FLT licence
Knowledge of how to read engineering drawings
Basic electrical skills
Welding
Hands on experience with workshop fitting, assembly
Experience of using hand and power tools and workshop machinery
Ability to work to deadlines and prioritise tasks
Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision and as part of a team
Good Attention to detail
Good understanding of general health and safetyMore about the role:
Monday to Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm
Start date: ASAP following interview process
