Are you ready to step into the exciting world of aerospace? Our client, a leading player in the aerospace industry, is currently seeking a skilled Fitter Tester to join their dynamic team in Wolverhampton.

As a Fitter Tester, you will be responsible for evaluating, building, and testing units and sub-assemblies using mechanical and electrical techniques. You will be working closely with the team to ensure adherence to quality procedures and requirements, while actively participating in process improvements.

Summary:

Start date: ASAP
Duration: 6 months
Location: Wolverhampton
Pay Rate: £21.48 plus shift allowance
Hours: 37 per week rotating shifts - Early shift 6.00 - 1.30pm Afternoon shift 1.30 - 9.00pmDuties include:

Build units and sub-assemblies using mechanical and electrical techniques as required by the appropriate media (Process Plan, drawings and Product Acceptance Test etc.)
Adhere to the relevant quality procedures and requirements, and participate in events/ investigations as necessary
Using appropriate test facilities, perform required tests to the relevant specification recording results as necessary
Able to assess manufactured features for conformance to requirements, and to declare any non-conformance's

Experience and Personal Characteristics:

Apprentice trained or NVQ level 3 or equivalent is essential - certificates will be required
Good communication skills
An enthusiast who is able to work on their own initiative
Previous knowledge of assembly activities, fitting and testing skills
