Fit-Out Site Manager – Day Care Centre / School Refurbishment Project
Brecon | Start Date: Monday 10th August
8 Week Contract | CIS / LTD Payments
£300–£400 per day (depending on experience)
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Fit-Out Site Manager to oversee an internal refurbishment and fit-out project within a day care centre and school environment in Brecon.
This is a fast-paced project being delivered within an occupied setting, requiring a Site Manager who is confident coordinating trades, maintaining high safety standards, and ensuring works are completed on programme and to specification.
IMPORTANT: A valid Enhanced DBS is essential for this role. Applications from candidates without a current Enhanced DBS will not be considered.
Duties
* Manage the day-to-day running of the refurbishment and fit-out works.
* Coordinate subcontractors and site activities.
* Ensure works are carried out safely within an occupied educational environment.
* Monitor progress against programme and resolve site issues efficiently.
* Maintain high standards of health & safety compliance.
* Conduct site inductions, toolbox talks, and regular site inspections.
* Oversee quality control and ensure works meet specification.
* Liaise with the project team, client representatives, and site stakeholders throughout the project.
Requirements
* Valid Enhanced DBS (essential).
* Proven experience as a Site Manager on fit-out, interiors, or refurbishment projects.
* Experience delivering projects within live or occupied environments.
* Valid SMSTS.
* Valid First Aid at Work certificate.
* CSCS Card.
* Strong organisational, communication, and leadership skills.
* Ability to manage programmes and deliver projects to tight deadlines.
Contract Details
* Location: Brecon
* Start Date: Monday 10th August
* Duration: 8 Weeks
* Rate: £250–£325 per day, depending on experience and suitability
* Payment: CIS or Limited Company
