From lab to launch: lead the next generation of missile trials as a Firing Trials Lead for this UK defence organisation.

You will lead the execution of all Future Cruise/Anti-Ship Weapon Test Project firing trials (ground and air launched) across its development phases, including associated integration for hardware and software upgrades.
About the Role:
Manage firing trials: this includes day-to-day operations, allocating tasks, creating safety and security documents, and setting up the test environments.
Lead lab-based testing: this involves working with various teams to conduct trials in a controlled environment and support design and manufacturing.
Oversee trials execution: this includes ensuring the test equipment functions properly, maintaining an overall plan, and managing the target scene setup and operation.
About You:
Experience in firing trials and/or system integration.
Experience in external trials preparation, conduct and working within a trial environment.
A good understanding of the company ISV processes and procedures.
Willingness to work in potentially harsh and remote conditions away from home for extended periods.
Excellent communication skills: able to work closely with external range and facility suppliers as well as managing/leading internal teams.
