Fire Stopping Operative (NVQ Qualified)
Location: London & Milton Keynes
Rate: £220 per day
Hours: 40 hours per week
Shifts:
* Days: 8:00am - 4:00pm
* Nights: 7:00pm - 3:00am (Overtime rate applicable)
Start Date: Within 2 weeks
About the Role
We are currently seeking experienced and qualified Fire Stopping Operatives on a range of commercial projects across London and Milton Keynes. Successful candidates will be working on fire protection and passive fire stopping installations to the highest industry standards.
Requirements
* NVQ Qualification in Fire Stopping or Passive Fire Protection.
* Minimum of 2 years' experience working as a qualified Fire Stopper.
* Proven experience installing a variety of fire stopping systems.
* Previous experience using Nullifire products.
* Experience using One Trace or Bolster software is preferred.
* Ability to accurately complete installation records and compliance documentation.
* Willingness to work both day and night shifts when required.
* Full UK work rights.
Duties
* Installation of passive fire protection and fire stopping systems.
* Sealing service penetrations and linear gaps.
* Installation of batt & mastic systems, fire-rated sealants, collars, wraps and associated fire stopping products.
* Completing installation records and photographic evidence.
* Ensuring all work complies with current regulations and project specifications.
* Maintaining high standards of health and safety on site.
