Description:
A leader in the provision of fire protection services is looking for experienced fire stoppers to join their team. You will be working on a medium sized commercial projects, carrying out new installations and remediation works to fire resistant materials. The works will be based throughout the South of Walks, covering Cardiff, Camarthen and Newport mostly. Most works will be service penetrations, linear seals and batt board installations.
The successful candidate will have:
* At least three years’ fire stopping experience
* NVQ level 2 passive fire protection
* Valid CSCS card
* Experience with batt and mastic, fire barrier and compound
* Fire curtain experience preferred
* Experience working using tracing apps to record works completed
* Knowledge of 3rd party accreditation
* Own tools and transport
Roles and responsibilities
* Installing and carrying out remedial works to new and existing fire doors
* Complete works in line with the manufacture’s specification
* Document works on a step-by-step basis, ensuring evidence is taken accurately
* Problem solving and being able to overcome unforeseen issues with the work
* Liaise with customers and members of the general public

* Approx. 8 weeks work
* £180.00 per day CIS (based on 8hrs working)
